Technology:
DHTMLDynamic HTML is everywhere on the
Internet. With Dynamic HTML, you can layer multiple
images on top of one another, precisely control the
layout of your page, add new interactivity and much
more.E-CommerceWhile there is no one correct
definition of e-commerce, it is generally described as a
method of buying and selling products and services
electronically. The main methods of e-commerce remain
the Internet and the World Wide Web, but use of email,
fax, and telephone orders are also prevalent. E-commerce
also encompasses all ranges of transactions:
business-to-business, business-to-consumer, and
consumer-to-business.ChatChat rooms on the
Internet make it possible to write and post messages and
to receive messages in return in a communal space. This
is done in real time; meaning when you send your message
it will appear almost immediately to other users who are
logged into the same chat room.
JavaScriptJavaScript is a basic scripting
language that allows web authors to create dynamic pages
that react to user interaction.XMLThe
Extensible Markup Language (XML) describes a class of
data objects called XML documents which are stored on
computers, and partially describes the behavior of
programs that process these objects. The goal of XML is
to enable generic SGML to be served, received, and
processed on the Web in the way that is now possible
with HTML. XML has been designed for ease of
implementation and for interoperability with both SGML
and HTML.SSL This is a method for hiding the
information a web browser and a web server send to each
other. When you browse a web site, you have very little
privacy. Many people can monitor what you reveal to, or
request from, that site. Credit card numbers, personal
data, or controversial information are an open book to
the technologically sophisticated eavesdropper. SSL was
designed to defeat the snoops and protect your privacy.
An SSL-enhanced browser such as Internet Explorer or
Netscape Navigator use encryption to scramble the data
you send to a web site into an unintelligible string of
seemingly random characters. |
